On August 25th 1845 three boys were appointed to write the rules of football (Rugby). On 28th August they became the laws of the School. #Origin

It was a very early start if you were an upper classical side student at Rugby School in 1902. At least you had a 2 hour and 45-minute in the afternoon.

For we give you the first page of the first edition of The Meteor published February 7th 1867.
