1839 The original Following-up cap was created by the boys at Rugby School, to mark the visit of Queen Adelaide.

The Close in 1749 The School moved to this location in 1750. Originally the School was based in the Town of Rugby near the alms houses, also established by the Will of Lawrence Sheriff.
